After preparing some Dutch sweets that Lizabeth and Jacobine brought with them, we talked about how God created each of us beautiful and unique.We also had a separate session where Martin and Edwin were able to spend time with the boys, share about themselves, and explain why they came to Ukraine.These meetings were a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, get to know one another better, and talk about important things.We reminded ourselves that each of us is unique and valuable, because God created us in His image, and everyone has a special role and calling.🫂🤍Після приготування нідерландських смаколиків, які Лізабет і Якобіне привезли з собою, ми спілкувалися про те, що Бог створив кожного з нас гарним і унікальним.Також ми мали окрему програму, де Мартин і Едвін змогли провести час із хлопцями, розповісти про себе та поділитися тим, чому вони приїхали в Україну.Ці зустрічі стали чудовою можливістю провести час разом, краще пізнати одне одного та поговорити про важливі речі. This week, together with hope4ukraine.nl and fightforfreedom.international, we met with the wives of fallen heroes in Rivne and distributed food vouchers & bread at rivne.wayLater, we gathered at lyubu.tebe to sit, listen, and simply be present.One woman, who lost her husband just five months ago, said:“When I stand before God, I won’t ask why He took my husband. February 23, 2022 was the last day Ukrainian children were able to peacefully dream about their bright future.The next day, our neighbors took that peace away.On February 23, 2026, together with the Irpin City Council and Gerben Huisman from Hope4Ukraine, we united to give young people a place where they can dream — and not only dream, but also be financially empowered to turn those dreams into reality.At a local school, we held a Youth Forum “Unbreakable Generation” for over 60 children who brought their ideas on how to improve Irpin to the table. They brainstormed, presented them, and, by the power of the vote, chose which projects would be implemented.It was amazing to see how our youth demonstrated true passion and strategic thinking.We sincerely thank Hope4Ukraine for the initiative and financial support, as well as the Irpin City Council for their cooperation and organization of the forum.Together, we are building a strong foundation for a resilient future generation. 🇺🇦23 лютого 2022 року став останнім днем, коли українські діти могли спокійно мріяти про своє світле майбутнє.Наступного дня цю тишу й мир у них відібрали.23 лютого 2026 року разом з Ірпінською міською радою та Гербеном Хейсманом з Hope4Ukraine ми об’єдналися, щоб дати молоді простір для мрій — і не лише для мрій, а й для реальних можливостей втілювати їх у життя завдяки фінансовій підтримці.В одній із місцевих шкіл ми провели Молодіжний форум «Покоління Незламних» для понад 60 дітей, які представили свої ідеї щодо розвитку Ірпеня. Вони працювали в командах, обговорювали, презентували свої проєкти та шляхом голосування визначили, які з них будуть реалізовані.Було надзвичайно надихаюче бачити щиру зацікавленість, зрілість і стратегічне мислення нашої молоді.Щиро дякуємо Hope4Ukraine за ініціативу та фінансову підтримку, а також Ірпінській міській раді за співпрацю та організацію форуму.Разом ми закладаємо міцний фундамент для стійкого майбутнього нового покоління. 🇺🇦
It was an emotional day of prayer for Ukraine. 🇺🇦We gathered in Irpin’s central square to honor those who laid down their lives, then drove a convoy through the city as a sign of respect for our resilient, yet very tired people. Beneath the Romaniv Bridge, we tied angels to remember the lives lost and in a local museum watched powerful body-cam footage from a volunteer who evacuated families during the darkest days in Irpin.All of this we did together with the team of volunteers at @hope4ukraine.nl, @gerbenwh, @oselia_ibc @sered.svoikh and Irpin City Council.We ended the day in IBC church, praying for peace, freedom, and strength for our land.💛💙Це був емоційний день молитви за Україну. 🇺🇦Ми зібралися на центральній площі Ірпеня, щоб вшанувати тих, хто віддав своє життя, а потім проїхали містом колоною як знак поваги до наших стійких, але дуже втомлених людей. Під Романівський міст ми прив’язали ангелів у пам’ять про загиблих, а в місцевому музеї переглянули вражаючі кадри з боді-камери волонтера, який евакуйовував сім’ї у найтемніші дні в Ірпені.Усе це ми зробили разом із командою волонтерів @hope4ukraine.nl, @gerbenwh, @oselia_ibc @sered.svoikh та Ірпінська міська рада.Завершили день у IBC Church, молячись за мир, свободу та силу для нашої землі. 💛💙

Сьогодні провели підліткову зустріч 🤍Готували хот-доги, трохи імпровізували, сміялися, плутали слова в «Аліасі» й просто говорили про життя. Без складних тем і зайвої серйозності — просто теплий вечір разом.Чесно, такі моменти дуже цінні. Коли бачиш, як підлітки розслабляються, відкриваються, жартують одне з одним — розумієш, заради чого все це.Навіть у непрості часи хочеться зберігати такі прості зустрічі. Бо іноді достатньо просто бути поруч, поїсти щось смачне й відчути, що ти не один.Дякую кожному, хто був сьогодні з нами 🤍Today we had a teen gathering 🤍We made hot dogs, improvised a little, laughed, got tongue-tied during “Alias,” and simply talked about life. No complicated topics or unnecessary seriousness — just a warm evening together.Honestly, moments like this truly matter. When you see teens relax, open up, and joke with each other, you’re reminded why you do this.Even in challenging times, it’s important to keep these simple gatherings. Sometimes it’s enough to just be there, share something tasty, and feel that you’re not alone.Thank you to everyone who was with us today 🤍
Війна забрала в них дім. У когось — тата. У когось — відчуття безпеки.Вона забрала дитинство. Забрала звичайне підліткове життя. Світло. Тепло. Спокій.І навіть психічне здоров’я — те, про що рідко говорять уголос.Але вона не забрала головного.Вони продовжують жити. Продовжують сміятися. Продовжують збирати моменти — з друзями, у розмовах, у простих зустрічах.Вони вчаться радіти всупереч. Вони дорослішають швидше, ніж мали б. І все одно — залишаються підлітками.Світ може ламати. Але він не зміг забрати їхню здатність жити.І в цьому — їхня сила.War has taken their home. For some — a father. For others — a sense of safety.It has taken childhood. It has taken ordinary teenage life. Light. Warmth. Peace.Even mental health — something rarely spoken about out loud.But it has not taken the most important thing.They keep living. They keep smiling. They keep collecting moments — with friends, in conversations, in simple gatherings.They are learning to find joy despite everything. They are growing up faster than they should. And still — they remain teenagers.The world can break things. But it could not take away their ability to live.And that is their strength.

Two days when teenagers were able, if only for a moment, to forget what war feels like.This is the generation we must raise and teach. Biblical heroes inspired them to be courageous, strong, and unafraid to change the course of history. And we believe that through God’s stories, which touched their hearts, they will be able to change many lives.We sincerely thank Gerben for his inspiring words to the youth during the camp. Day 1 🔥Today we dove into the story of Joseph — a young leader with whom God walked through every season of his life.Joseph became a blessing wherever he went.People could see God in him.He refused to compromise his values.And no matter what was done to him, he didn’t grow bitter toward God or live for revenge.As we studied his life, each teen came to their own conclusions and chose principles they want to start living out in their own leadership journey.And then… 😄Extreme games, creativity, and team challenges — everything to build friendships, strengthen unity, and lift each other up.
