Communications Manager - U.S. Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in UkraineThe U.S. Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine (CCI) Activity began in May 2020. The purpose of the CCI Activity is to reduce, and ultimately eliminate, cybersecurity vulnerabilities in Ukraine’s critical infrastructure sectors. In the same way that cyberattacks drove Estonia to innovate cybersecurity practices, systems, and entrepreneurship as the backbone of its digital transformation. Responsibilities:• Enhance and implement the CCI Activity’s Strategic Communications Plan: development of communication tactics and campaigns to ensure that strategic communication drives the achievement of CCI Activity’s goals and objectives.• Develop key narratives on the CCI Activity’s work (flyers, brochures, factsheets, etc.) and prepare content for domestic audience: CCI Activity beneficiaries, the Government of Ukraine stakeholders at the national and subnational levels, state-owned enterprises, private sector stakeholders, critical infrastructure stakeholders, civil society organizations, university administrators, and instructors; and overseas audience: USG stakeholders, other donors, and U.S. taxpayers.• Develop CCI Activity public outreach products, including success stories, beneficiaries’ testimonials, press releases, social media posts, articles, etc., to communicate the impact of the CCI Activity’s work and how this work makes America safer, stronger, or more prosperous.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, PR, international relations, project management, or another related field; master’s degree preferred.• At least five years of solid experience in communications, reporting, and communications product development in American/other international organizations-funded projects.• Good social media management skills – LinkedIn, Facebook (Meta Business Suite), etc.It’s Kyiv-based position, long-term.
