Hi! 🙌This weekend we’ll be working in the heart of Kyiv — on the grounds of St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, where beneath the ground lie the ruins of the Gate Church, built back in the 11th century. This is your chance to touch a thousand years of history and feel like Indiana Jones 🛕You’ll be able to personally contribute to preserving Ukraine’s cultural heritage and experience what it’s like to be a real explorer and archaeologist ⛏️⚱️Here are the details👇 📍 Where? Kyiv, near the side entrance to St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery (we will send the exact location to registered participants) 🗓 When? September 20 (2:00–6:00 PM) and September 21 (10:00 AM–4:00 PM) 🔨 What we’ll do:- Assist in conducting research alongside archaeologists- Cleaning and collecting excavation debris- Sorting, carrying out, and loading waste👐 We provide:- Tools and personal protective equipment (FFP3 respirators, goggles, vests)- Guidance from a coordinator and an archaeology specialist❗️ Please bring: – Comfortable, sturdy shoes with thick soles – A change of closed clothing you don’t mind getting dirty – Lunch🔗 Registration is required via this linkSince the number of places is limited, in case of high demand, we will first invite those who have already participated in our community clean-ups🤠 Location coordinators (contact for questions): - Saturday — Olena @LenTa_A - Sunday — Viktoriia @olddirtyalleyway
