How to write a cold message that gets replies......and it is not personalization (shick shak shok)If you're still opening with:"Dear {{Name}}. Hope you're well. I wanted to introduce myself..."You're getting archived. What works for me is not the 1000 personalized fields (which are often not relevant). It is the RELEVANCE. So, I would:1. Start with a triggerMention something recent, specific, and relevant. It can be a industry (for us a regulatory) update. 📌 “Saw you just expanded your sales team - congrats”2. Tie it to a painMake it about them, not your product.📌 “That usually comes with onboarding challenges and ramp time pressure”3. Add social proof or valueShow you’ve helped someone like them - or drop a useful insight.📌 “We recently helped {{Company X}} cut ramp time by 30% - happy to share how”4. End with a soft CTADon’t go for the calendar link right away.📌 “Would it be useful if I sent over a quick summary?”That’s it.No long intros. No fluff. No feature dumping.Short. Relevant. Human. That’s what earns the reply. (save for later)Do you prefer personalization or relevance?
