Chechnya, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine are all proof that if evil isn’t stopped, it will keep on expanding its influence.I came to Ukraine to help prepare dehydrated meals for the frontline, but once in Lviv I saw that there was a lack of volunteers everywhere (I arrived in May). In the meantime, this got better, mainly due to the launch of the volunteeringukraine website (https://www.volunteeringukraine.com/), which has been extremely helpful for foreigners.Volunteering is a rewarding and impactful experience because you know that you’re making a positive impact, no matter how small. Meeting like-minded people only adds to the experience. It’s important to show Ukrainians that they are not alone and that this is not only their fight, and what better way to do that if not by volunteering together? You don’t need a special skill set to join, but you’ll definitely develop new skills while being here. The first 90 days have passed extremely fast, but I don’t see myself stop from volunteering or leaving Ukraine, so I decided to stay longer.
