Доповідь Головкома Сирського щодо ситуації на фронті за добу 24 квітня.Майже 150 російських атак проти наших позицій і більш ніж 4500 обстрілів, зокрема з важкого озброєння. Найбільш жорстка ситуація була на Покровському напрямку. Вдячний усім нашим воїнам – кожному солдату, сержанту й офіцеру – за стійкість і захист наших позицій.Фактично росіяни намагалися під прикриттям їхнього масованого удару розвивати штурмові дії. Коли максимум наших сил був зосереджений на захисті від ракет і дронів, росіяни пішли на значну інтенсифікацію їхніх наземних атак.Росіяни отримали гідну відсіч. Хочу відзначити за це особливо воїнів нашої 72-ї окремої механізованої бригади та 59-ї окремої штурмової бригади безпілотних систем, які завдали окупанту відчутних втрат. А також відзначу ефективні дії 100-ї окремої механізованої бригади та 12-ї бригади оперативного призначення Національної гвардії України, які проявляють необхідні стійкість та результативність.Також наші слідчі, криміналісти та експерти здійснюють огляди місць влучань ракет і дронів, встановлюють і перевіряють обставини відповідних обстрілів, проводять експертизи виявлених уламків ракет і дронів, щоб встановити повну інформацію про цю зброю та критичні компоненти в ній, які були поставлені в Росію чи Північну Корею з третіх країн і використані у виробництві.

Now, after Easter, the whole world can clearly see the real issue – the real reason why the hostilities continue. Russia is the source of this war. It is from Moscow that a real order must come for the Russian army to cease fire. And if there is no such firm Russian order for ceasefire – then there is no ceasefire. Indeed, there were no air raid alerts on Easter, and some sectors of the frontline remained quiet. This proves it is possible – it’s possible when Russia chooses to reduce the killing. Nevertheless, Ukraine stands by its offer — at the very least, not to strike civilian infrastructure. And we expect a clear answer from Moscow. We are ready for any conversation on how to ensure this.There is an obvious, simplest, and most reliable way: stop missile and long-range drone attacks. That alone would automatically ensure the safety of all civilian infrastructure. A ceasefire – real and lasting – must be the first step toward a secure and enduring peace. Ukrainian representatives – both at the meetings held in Paris and at the meetings scheduled this week in London – will have a primary task regarding an unconditional ceasefire. That must be the starting point. Peace begins in silence.

Зараз у Харкові ще тривають роботи після удару російських ракет. Попередньо це були крилаті ракети – «іскандери». Одна з ракет розірвалась у повітрі просто над спальним районом, інша влучила по території підприємства поруч із житловою забудовою. В результаті удару пошкоджені звичайні житлові будинки, багато постраждалих – більше сотні людей. Усім надається допомога. Абсолютно різні люди: хтось старшого віку, хтось зовсім молодий. Усі просто живуть своїм життям у власній країні, у своєму місті, і це робить їх мішенню для Росії – для російських ракет. Треба бути відвертою сволотою та зневажати життя, щоб завдавати таких ракетних ударів по звичайному місту – у Страсну пʼятницю, напередодні Великодня. І коли ми звертаємось до партнерів, передусім до Сполучених Штатів, по системи «Петріот» і ракети до них, які можуть захистити від цього російського зла – від крилатих ракет, від балістики, – ми звертаємось по захист, на який заслуговує кожен народ. І не має бути такого, що якийсь народ заслуговує на допомогу більше, а якийсь – менше. І це по-християнськи – допомогти. Особливо коли є така можливість – допомогти. І не має бути такого, що якийсь терорист чомусь може уникати наслідків, хоча так само знищує життя, як і інший. Росія заслуговує щонайменше на жорсткі санкції, які є відплатою за все те, що вона робить. Сьогодні ми розширили наші українські санкції ще на майже сотню субʼєктів – фізичних та юридичних осіб, більшість із яких залучена до виробництва в тому числі таких ракет – «іскандерів», – як ті, що вдарили по нашому Харкову. Багато із цих субʼєктів російські, але також є, на жаль, з Китаю. Ми будемо працювати з партнерами й надалі, щоб наші санкції були синхронізовані. Кожен, хто працює на вбивства та затягування війни, має за це відповідати. І я дякую всім у світі, хто підтримує таку позицію.

34 days ago, Ukraine responded positively to the U.S. proposal for a full and unconditional ceasefire. And for 34 days now, Russia has been openly refusing to cease fire. Putin remains focused on continuing the war. Russian state propagandists are preparing their audience for the idea that diplomacy will not bring any results. There is only one reason for this – in Moscow, they are not afraid. If there is no strong enough pressure on Russia, they will keep doing what they are used to – they will keep waging war.We all want this to end. Peace is needed – and it must be lasting. That is why Ukraine always works constructively with its partners, in all formats that can bring security and restore peace. We are not just ready for peace quickly – Ukraine has never wanted this war, not for a single second. And when the war ends, the world will clearly know: it happened because Russia, the aggressor, was forced into peace. The same aggressor that came to Ukrainian land in 2014 – 11 years ago. And it’s important for everyone that this doesn’t take more years.

A meeting of the Military Cabinet was held: with thorough reports from Syrskyi, Hnatov, and Drapatyi. All directions, all parts of the frontline were covered. Our positions, necessary supplies, and staffing. The maximum effort for stabilizing the situation, for our active actions and our active diplomacy. Today I have also discussed with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine our preparations for the upcoming Ramstein meeting, which is scheduled for Friday. Our top priority is air defense – above all, missile defense against ballistic threats. Ukraine needs at the very least ten systems that are sufficiently effective specifically against Russian ballistic missiles, and this is where Patriots are second to none. We have repeatedly raised this issue with the American side and with everyone in Europe who is in a position to help. We are counting on decisions. Just today, there were several air raid alerts across the country due to ballistic missile threats. In some parts of our country, people are virtually living under the constant threat of such attacks. And right now, the world lacks not the systems themselves – but only the political decisions needed to protect lives. The systems do exist. There are even enough Patriots in the world to guarantee protection from Russian terror once and for all. But this requires a political decision – a decision by our partners.

Today, I held a meeting of the Staff. The main focus was reports on drone production in Ukraine – we are ramping it up to the maximum. This includes the full range of drones: from Mavics to long-range drones. We’re also expanding our domestic capacity to produce ground-based robotic systems. What we need is constant, stable growth in the production and supply of every necessary part of the unmanned component to our forces. And for this year, the outlook is promising. We’re also working separately on fiber-optic drones – just since the beginning of this year, more than 20 new certified drone models with fiber-optic control systems have emerged. Eleven of our Ukrainian enterprises have already mastered the production of such drones. The task now is to reach the highest possible scale of production and delivery. Today, I’ve instructed that contracts be signed to the fullest extent possible. There is also positive momentum on “deep strikes.” I cannot mention specific figures, but this year we will ensure the necessary volume for our Defense Forces. I want to thank all our enterprises involved, as well as all our warriors, all specialists – everyone who is developing the unmanned component for our army, for all of our Forces.

I have instructed the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to step up contacts with our partners on air defense. A meeting is being prepared in the context of Ramstein. There are two main objectives: namely, air defense systems, specifically Patriots, and the second objective is contingents, ensuring the swift alignment of all decisions and working out all details. I have also instructed that we work bilaterally on air defense, especially with the United States, which has sufficient potential to help stop any terror. The appropriate will and the corresponding decisions are needed to protect as many lives as possible from Russian ballistic strikes. The strengthening of our air shield will also reinforce all diplomatic efforts.Today’s Russian attack included missiles launched from the waters of the Black Sea. Our partners know exactly which vessels were involved and from which part of the sea the launch occurred. This is one of the reasons why Russia is distorting diplomacy, why it is refusing to agree to an unconditional ceasefire: they want to preserve their ability to strike our cities and ports from the sea. A ceasefire at sea is not just about free navigation and the export of food products by sea – it is, above all, about overall security and about bringing peace closer. Putin does not want to end the war, he is looking for ways to preserve the option of reigniting it at any moment, with even greater force. That’s exactly why all forms of pressure on Russia must continue: strengthening our ability to defend ourselves, maintaining sanctions, and ensuring that diplomacy – any conversation with Moscow – leaves them no opportunity to kill.

Last night and today, many around the world voiced their position in response to this strike – a clear rejection of Russian terror. To everyone who sees this and does not close their eyes, who speaks the truth clearly and directly – not only we in Ukraine, but the entire world should be grateful. Staying silent about the fact that it is Russia killing children with ballistic missiles is wrong and dangerous. It only emboldens the scum in Moscow to continue the war and keep ignoring diplomacy. Weakness has never ended a war. That’s why I’m thankful to every country whose representatives have spoken out – leaders, foreign ministers, embassies.A Russian ballistic missile – targeting the street of an ordinary city, striking residential buildings – and after that, an additional drone strike. One more person killed, more people wounded. Russia must be held accountable for everything it has done. To end this war, it is necessary to put pressure on them – real pressure – without wasting time on empty talk.

Rescue operations are currently underway in Kryvyi Rih following a Russian missile strike. Preliminary reports suggest it was a ballistic missile. As of now, 16 people are confirmed, including six children. My condolences to their families and loved ones.Many people are injured. Buildings have been damaged. The missile struck an area near residential buildings: hitting a playground and regular streets. They are nothing but inhuman scumbags – everyone who can do such things. There are no decent words to describe these Russian bastards.Also today, in Kharkiv, rescue efforts continued all day after a targeted Russian drone strike. A deliberate attack by six “Shahed” drones. Sadly, 5 people were killed. 34 others were injured. In total, 78 attack drones were launched during the past night alone, 56 of them “Shaheds.” Also today, in Kherson – another targeted strike by a Russian FPV drone hit an energy facility – the Kherson thermal power plant.These strikes cannot be accidental: the Russians know exactly that these are energy facilities and that such facilities should be protected from any attacks under what Russia itself promised to the American side. Every Russian promise ends with missiles or drones, bombs or artillery. Diplomacy means nothing to them. And that’s why pressure is needed – sufficient pressure on Russia so they feel the consequences of every lie of theirs, every strike, every single day they take lives and prolong the war.

Цілеспрямований російський ракетний удар по Кривому Рогу. Всі необхідні служби на місці, усувають наслідки обстрілу та допомагають людям. Є постраждалі. Їм надають медичну допомогу. Станом на зараз відомо, що життя чотирьох людей, на жаль, забрав цей удар. Серед загиблих усі цивільні. Мої співчуття рідним та близьким.Всюди у світі такі удари називають однаково: це терор. Припинити це можна лише достатнім тиском на Москву, на російську систему, щоб вони були змушені відмовитись від війни й терору, і це залежить від партнерів – від Америки, від Європи, від інших у світі. Нас усіх відділяє щонайменше від повного й безумовного припинення ударів лише відсутність згоди Росії припиняти війну. Тільки тиск світу може забезпечити таку згоду. І також усі подібні російські удари доводять, що Україні потрібно достатньо систем і ракет ППО, щоб ми могли захистити всіх людей в Україні від російського терору. Працюємо з усіма партнерами заради цього і дякуємо всім, хто нам допомагає. Всім, хто розуміє, що потрібен тиск на Росію і стабільна підтримка України.
