"Stories" on Telegram Now Available Without Premium Subscription

Shortly after beta testing, Telegram opened up the ability to publish "Stories" for all users. Even if you don't have a subscription to Telegram Premium, you can now publish videos, photos, and text posts. However, there are some limitations.

Without a subscription, the messenger allows you to post no more than three entries per day or seven per week. The maximum length of the text description is 200 characters, and the story will remain on the profile for 24 hours.

Telegram Premium users enjoy several advantages. Their stories will always appear first in the list, even if a post from a non-subscribed user is fresher. Additionally, subscribers can publish up to 100 stories a day, keep them in their profile for 6, 12, 24, or 48 hours as they choose, and add descriptions of up to 2048 characters.

A paid privilege remains the "invisible" mode: it allows users to view others' stories discreetly. Also, without a subscription, you won't be able to add links, format text, or save stories to the device's memory (if the author allows it).

As of August 14, the ability to publish stories without a subscription became available on iOS and Android, but it may take a few days for the feature to roll out to all users.
