Assistant Communications Officer - OHCHRThis position is located in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Responsibilities- Supports design and implementation of the communication strategy of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) for human rights promotion and increased visibility of HRMMU: - Produces and/or assists in producing communication and reporting materials, including texts for social media, stories, press releases, images and videos, infographics, leaflets etc; - Leads the maintenance and uploading the information on official websites and social media to ensure that the content there is updated; Work Experience- A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in communications, international relations, public information or other relevant areas is required with first level university degree. No experience needed with advanced university degree in communication, journalism, international relations, digital communications, media relations, public information, marketing or related field. - Experience drafting social media publications, press releases, human centered stories is required.- Experience in graphic design and video editing tools (like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and/or PremierePro) is desirable.
