All for the safety of users.

Microsoft has sent warnings to users of Windows 10 version 21H2. This update was released back in November 2021, and support for it will end on June 13. This means that no further updates will be released for this version of the system, including critical security patches.

To protect users and enhance the security of their devices, Microsoft will initiate a forced update to Windows 10 22H2. This applies to the "Home," "Professional," "Pro for Educational Institutions," and "Pro for Workstations" versions.

Microsoft has not specified when the forced update will begin. On June 13, 21H2 will receive its last monthly security update - likely, the forced update should be expected shortly after that.

Users of computers compatible with Windows 11 are recommended to upgrade to the new version of the system instead of updating Windows 10.

Previously, Microsoft announced that 22H2 would be the last version of Windows 10, and its support will continue until October 2025.
