YouTube Music Lets You Make Your Profile Public and Share What You're Listening To

By default, the feature is turned off, but this can be changed in the settings.

Now users of YouTube Music can make their profiles public and more informative. On the user page, you can now see which songs, playlists, artists, or videos they have been listening to or watching recently. However, this is only possible if the person has agreed to share this information.

A section called "Enable Public Stats" has appeared in YouTube settings, where you can choose what will be displayed on your profile. For example, access can be granted only to playlists or artists, but not to songs and videos.

YouTube notes that if additional information can be shown on the profile in the future, these options will be turned off by default. This means you are not committing to share anything in the future by allowing the display of existing options now.

Revoking permission will immediately remove the information from the profile. Additionally, after 2 years, it will be automatically revoked: if you want to keep your profile public, you will need to revisit the settings.
