Aptos Price Rises 20% in a Day

On January 13, 2023, the cryptocurrency Aptos (APT) became the leader in daily profitability among the top one hundred digital coins by market capitalization. Within 24 hours, its value skyrocketed by 20%. In the morning around 9 AM, it was trading at $6.28. Thus, its price surged by 69% over the week.

The market capitalization of the digital asset was $817.81 million, placing APT at 54th among the best. Daily trading volumes reached nearly $621 million. During these 24 hours, no other cryptocurrency managed to show such growth. However, three digital tokens increased by 10% or more.

Frax Share (FXS) is an example of growth, increasing by more than 13% in a day. The coin's value reached $6.43, with an asset capitalization of $490 million. This stabilized FXS at 73rd among the top cryptocurrencies. Thus, the total transaction amount was $19.5 million for the day, accounting for a third of the weekly total.

The virtual currency Helium (HNT) ranked 90th among the best, with a market capitalization of $324 million. It grew by 11% in a day, with a value of $2.37. Market participants facilitated trading volumes of nearly $4.5 million.

Returning to the top 50 cryptocurrencies with a circulating supply of $834 million is the cryptocurrency Decentraland (MANA), valued at $0.449. Its trading volumes for the day amounted to $168 million.

Finally, BTC traded at 3.6% higher than the previous day, priced at $18,815. Bitcoin's market capitalization exceeded $362 million.
