Honor has released a major update of the MagicOS 8.0 firmware for 48 devices launched in the last three years. The changes include improvements to the camera, interface, artificial intelligence technologies, and security systems.

Among the key camera innovations are the ability to remove unwanted objects from photos, shoot in a 16:9 aspect ratio, and add or remove watermarks. Three camera color modes have been introduced - natural, vivid, and textured - along with a new professional mode menu for frame-by-frame shooting.
Regarding the interface, developers have enhanced animation smoothness and added new customization options for the notification panel. MagicOS has learned to remember app combinations launched in split-screen mode and has received improvements to Parallel Space. For advanced Honor smartphones, a series of multitasking-related changes have been added.
