According to representatives of the organization, the wealth of the five richest individuals - CEO of Tesla Elon Musk, Bernard Arnault and his family from LVMH, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Oracle founder Larry Ellison, and investment guru Warren Buffett - has increased by 114% in real terms since 2020.

The interim CEO of Oxfam stated that the report indicates the world is entering a "decade of division."

Oxfam proposed measures to be considered in the "fight against inequality" program. These include permanent taxation of the wealthiest individuals in each country, more effective taxation of large corporations, and a renewed effort to combat tax evasion.

It is worth noting that currently, the richest person on the planet is Elon Musk, with a personal fortune of just under $250 billion. The combined wealth of the five richest people in the world reached $869 billion as of November 2023, compared to $340 billion in March 2020.
