Після тривалих дискусій о 9:18 ранку 28 червня народні депутати ухвалили Конституцію України - документ, який закріпив незалежність нашої держави, демократичні цінності, права і свободи людини.Втім, українська традиція конституціоналізму значно давніша. Ще у 1710 році гетьман Пилип Орлик уклав документ, відомий як «Пакти й Конституції прав і вольностей Війська Запорозького». Його вважають однією з перших європейських конституцій, адже він передбачав розподіл влади та обмеження повноважень гетьмана.Конституція - це не просто збірка статей. Це суспільний договір, який визначає, якою є наша держава, які права має кожен громадянин і якими принципами ми керуємося, будуючи майбутнє.Сьогодні, коли Україна виборює свою свободу та незалежність, цінності, закріплені в Конституції, набувають особливого значення. Вони нагадують, що сила держави - у єдності її народу, повазі до людської гідності, свободи та верховенства права.З Днем Конституції України! This historic session became known as the “Constitutional Night.” After hours of intense debate, at 9:18 a.m. on June 28, Members of Parliament adopted the Constitution of Ukraine—a landmark document that enshrined our country’s independence, democratic values, and the fundamental rights and freedoms of its people.However, Ukraine’s constitutional tradition dates back much further. In 1710, Hetman Pylyp Orlyk authored the Pacts and Constitutions of the Rights and Freedoms of the Zaporizhian Host, widely regarded as one of Europe’s earliest constitutions. It introduced the principle of the separation of powers and placed limits on the authority of the Hetman.A constitution is more than a collection of legal articles. It is a social contract that defines the foundations of the state, guarantees the rights of every citizen, and reflects the principles that guide us as we build our future.Today, as Ukraine continues to defend its freedom and independence, the values enshrined in the Constitution carry even greater significance.
