First, I’m glad bathing in blood was only quote from song (by the way, I added it to my Ukrainian playlist, I really like it), but you must understand I never heard this song before, and words you used aren’t smth I see in usual conversation. Usually those words are used in Poland about someone bathing is in blood, I won’t go deeper into polish martylology but it has very bad conotation here. Second, Kseniya isn’t only one in Volt. She is only one among Volt Europa team leaders. She doesn’t represent her nation, probably there is a small percentage of Russian as active as her - but there are many who share general idea, and many of those are here, behind Russian cordon. I understand why you don’t want to talk with them, I specially wrote to you to ask about this to ask if I can invite anyone here (before I only invited one Ukrainian to Moя яма, who was clearly pro-Volt and pro-European, he studies European policy in Warsaw). Existence of „good Russian”? Yes. How else you would refer to Kseniya. I know there aren’t many of them, for sure not as many as we would want - there wouldn’t be war if there would be so many of them - but they are hope smth can change. And they are only chance of changing Russia to not be danger to Ukraine in next decades, centuries. Beside nuking whole country. No, I think you rightfully hate invaders, and just automatically expand that hate for whole nation. We in Poland had it too, to this day there are many who, despite never meeting one, hate Germans or Ukrainians since WWII, despite forgetting what we did to you too before. And if possible, I want to fight same hate between you and Russians, because I see how disruptive it is among Poles even decades after, how every day brings us closer to voting after which help from and through Poland could be stopped by politicians thriving on people’s hate. Your wound is fresh, and it is today helping you fight - but you must understand you need to try to heal it, or disease will take you over. In Poland and Europe we fight it with weak medicines, too scared to amputate. And we don’t want you to fall in same mistake. It is dumb you fight war by blood while we fight war by words, but sadly, loss in war of words can lead to you losing war of blood. In Volt we work on pragmatism - we must secure you victory in this war, but we need to secure your and our safety for long time after. This is why we need Russians, especially if they are willing to cooperate. And again, I won’t require you to talk with them - just don’t close any possibility with them in future
