It's been my daily-driver for over 5 years. There are a few caveats: - Some apps (like banking, or Uber/Lyft) might require "Google play services" which don't exist on the phone. You can install a service like MicroG (as a sandboxed user on your phone) and get them working.As far as banking goes, you can always just use the regular browser and log into your banking website without adding Google services back onto your phone (assuming your bank's app won't work, most do). - Map apps exist (Organic Maps and Osmand+ are the best) but their ability to find a business by just typing in the name is hit or miss. If you do a web search and find the address, you can copy/paste the address and navigate there just fine. In that vein, if you need hand's-free navigation, you'll have to download a separate TTS app and configure your maps app to use it. __But you can still certainly use and download apps from the Google Play Store, using "Aurora Store", which you can download from https://f-droid.org/, a free and open-source marketplace with a ton of other useful, open-source apps.Installing GrapheneOS is very easy, just follow the simple instructions on the website and use the web-installer. If you want to save the image for offline use, you can do that too, but you have to be a little more tech savvy.
