📍One city — Izuim. Two churches. Hundreds people and many painful stories. In these difficult times, we had the opportunity to come and support with humanitarian aid where it is needed the most. We distributed winter clothing, children’s toys, and essential items for families — everything that warms not only the body, but also the heart. There were many sincere looks, hugs, words of gratitude, and moments of silence filled with hope.Even when times are hard, we see that help matters. We can be present. Frosts down to –30°C, daily enemy attacks, and people left without electricity and heating — this is the reality Ukrainians are living in today.We joined forces with the Relief organization to provide people with sleeping bags and heating pads. Elderly people were sitting at home wearing jackets; some had been without electricity for six days. Everyone was waiting to receive these essential items.Many people in Ukraine are still without electricity and heat. The need has not disappeared — it exists every single day.We are grateful for our cooperation with Relief and for the opportunity to bring warmth to people.Together with God, toward victory!❤️🇺🇦Морози до –30°, щоденні атаки ворога, і люди , які залишились без світла і тепла - реальність в якій живуть українці сьогодні.Ми об’єдналися з організацією Relief, щоб забезпечити людей спальними мішками та грілками. The Abide mobile clinic visited us. Children with special needs together with their mothers, elderly people, people with disabilities, adults, and their children had the opportunity to receive free medical care from a family physician, an ENT specialist, an ophthalmologist, an orthopedic traumatologist, and a dentist. It was also possible to undergo medical tests, measure blood pressure, check heart function, and receive medications.We sincerely thank the Abide team for their care, professionalism, and the opportunity to serve together so that everyone can have access to essential medical care.With God, toward victory!❤️До нас завітала мобільна клініка «Abide». 📍MOSHCHUNThe village of Moshchun, the “Father’s House” church, was filled with people who have suffered because of the war since the beginning of 2022. Among them were elderly people, children, and adults. They received humanitarian aid, but together with the essential supplies, they received something much more — love, warmth, and support from our friends and partners from the Netherlands. 📍MYKOLAIVWe invited youth from the streets to a warm and heartfelt Christmas gathering. From the very beginning, there was a strong sense of acceptance, sincerity, and openness. Through relaxed conversations and shared reflections, the participants not only spent time together but also had a chance to slow down from everyday life and think more deeply about the true meaning of Christmas.The main question of the evening invited everyone to reflect: Is Christmas just a holiday, or is it a living encounter that can truly touch the heart?❤️✨📍МИКОЛАЇВ Молодь з вулиць була запрошена на справжню теплу й душевну різдвяну програму, де з перших хвилин відчувалася атмосфера прийняття, щирості та відкритості. У неформальному спілкуванні, за простими розмовами й спільними роздумами, вони мали нагоду не лише провести час разом, а й зупинитися в щоденній метушні, щоб глибше замислитися над значенням Різдва. Центральним питанням вечора стало щире запрошення до роздумів: Різдво — це лише свято чи насамперед жива зустріч, що здатна торкнутися серця?❤️✨
Два дні тому ця річ врятувала людей.Shahed влучив у житловий будинок. Ніч. Полумʼя. Дим. Паніка. Ті секунди, коли не думаєш — просто дієш.Ми нещодавно отримали вогнегасники. Частину передали в сільську раду лише 11 км від лінії фронту. Місце, куди дуже часто прилітають FPV-дрони по звичайних цивільних будинках.І сталося так, що вже наступної ночі — удар. Загорівся будинок.У селі не було часу шукати воду. Люди просто згуртувалися, похватали ті самі вогнегасники — і побігли гасити пожежу. Разом вони змогли зупинити вогонь. Будинок частково постраждав — але він не згорів. І люди залишилися живими.Це не просто обладнання. Це — час, виграні хвилини. Це — шанс, коли більше нічого немає. Це — доказ того, що підготовка рятує життя там, де страх міг би паралізувати.Дякуємо всім, хто не розгубився. Хто біжить на допомогу, а не ховається. І продовжує робити неможливе, щоб людей повертали живими 🤍Two days ago, this saved people’s lives.A Shahed drone hit a residential building. Night. Flames. Smoke. Panic. Those moments when you don’t think — you just act.We had recently received fire extinguishers, and some of them were handed over to the local village council. A village just 11 km from the front line. A place that is very often targeted by FPV drones hitting ordinary civilian homes.And then, the very next night — another strike. A house caught fire.There was no time to look for water. People simply came together, grabbed those same fire extinguishers, and ran to put out the fire.Together, they managed to stop the flames. The house was partially damaged — but it did not burn down. And people stayed alive.This is not just equipment. It is time — minutes won back. It is a chance when there is nothing else. It is proof that preparation saves lives when fear could otherwise paralyze.Thank you to everyone who did not freeze in fear. Who runs toward danger instead of hiding from it. And who continues to do the impossible so that people can be brought back alive 🤍
What is “home” ?During a meeting with teenagers, we talked about where they feel “at home.” For some, it’s the people close to them; for others, it’s a computer or any space that gives them a sense of safety.Sometimes “home” can be found far from your actual house — at school, among friends, in church, or next to someone you trust. Some people don’t have housing at all or have lost it because of war or other circumstances.But we came to the conclusion that the feeling of home is possible anywhere you are loved and accepted. 🫂❤️🩹Що для вас є дім?Під час зустрічі з підлітками ми говорили про те, де вони почуваються «вдома». Для одних це близькі люди, для інших — комп’ютер чи будь-який простір, що дарує відчуття безпеки.Інколи «дім» можна знайти далеко від власного житла у школі, серед друзів, у церкві або поруч із людиною, якій довіряєш. Дехто взагалі не має житла або втратив його через війну чи інші обставини.Але ми дійшли висновку, що відчуття дому можливе всюди, де тебе люблять і приймають.🫂❤️🩹
Living through war places an unimaginable weight on the hearts of those whose loved ones stand on the front lines defending our country. On the eve of Christmas, we were deeply honored to come alongside the IBC team to create a warm and heartfelt evening for the wives and mothers of our soldiers.This time together was more than a moment of rest, it was a sacred pause. A chance to breathe, to be still, to write letters from the heart, to thank God, and to entrust Him with fears, grief, and unspoken prayers. We are profoundly grateful for the strength, resilience, and love these women carry every day, often quietly and without recognition.Our prayer is that every woman and every mother would feel surrounded by support, held by hope, and comforted by God’s presence during these incredibly difficult times.🙏🏻❤️🫂Життя у час війни покладає неймовірний тягар на серця тих, чиї рідні стоять на передовій, захищаючи нашу країну. Every story of a fallen soldier’s wife is unique. Today’s meeting with Natalia touched us deeply.At the beginning of the war, her family—parents and seven children—tried to evacuate and came under Russian shelling. Their youngest son was wounded. Doctors fought for his life, and by God’s grace, he survived.Later, her husband was mobilized into the army and was killed shortly afterward, in October 2022. Before she had time to recover from that loss, tragedy struck again: a few months ago, her younger brother was killed. Just weeks ago, during a nighttime drone attack, the roof of her home was damaged.And even this is not the end of her pain—her eldest son is currently on the front line.It is impossible to imagine how one woman can carry so much grief and sorrow. We can never restore what has been lost, but we want to walk beside her and help carry this burden together.❤️Кожна історія дружин загиблих воїнів є унікальною. Сьогоднішня зустріч з Наталею зворушила нас до глибини душі.На початку війни їхня сімʼя з 7-ма дітьми намагалася евакуюватися та попали під обстріли росіян. Молодшого сина було поранено . Лікарі боролися за його життя та їм вдалося його врятувати. Згодом її чоловік був забраний до війська і через короткий час загинув у жовтні 2022 року. Не оговтавшись від однієї втрати декілька місяців назад загинув її молодший брат а декілька тижнів тому іі дах було пошкодження дронами під час нічної атаки. І це ще не кінець… її старший син також зараз на лінії фронту.Не можливо навіть уявити, як стільки горя та болю може витримувати одна жінка .Ми ніколи не зможемо повернути нічого із твраченого, але хочемо бути поряд, щоб розділяти цей тягар❤️
