Він став зразком зухвалих і впевнених дій українських десантників. Ідеальна взаємодія мотопіхоти на бронетехніці, танків та ударних дронів дозволила ЗСУ вибити ворога з укріплених позицій. Попри повну відсутність власної бронетехніки й безвихідне становище, російські військові чинили жорсткий опір, тримаючись у будівлях навіть після ударів танків та 20-мм гармат «Мардерів». Лише FPV-дронам вдалося остаточно вибити їх із укриттів. Більшість штурмовиків, включно з командиром полку, була знищена.
