Unpublished Novel by Gabriel García Márquez to Release in 2024

In literary circles, it is believed that there are other unknown works by the cult author in the archives.

In spring 2024, the world will see a previously unpublished novel by Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez, Nobel Prize winner in literature. It will be titled "We'll See Each Other in August."

The novel will be released by the family of the famous writer to mark the tenth anniversary of his death.

The Guardian notes that there may be other unpublished works in Márquez's archives. Regarding the book "We'll See Each Other in August," it was handwritten and has been stored at the University of Texas in Austin (USA) all this time. However, the author never completed it.

Initially, the writer's children did not want to publish the unfinished novel, but they eventually changed their minds. The book will be published in its original Spanish language and will first appear in stores in South American countries.

Gabriel García Márquez is best known for his novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude." He is considered the most read and translated Spanish-speaking author. The writer passed away in 2014.
