Interface illustrations with more useful widgets in iOS style.
A week ago, it was revealed that Apple is preparing a major redesign of watchOS 10. Insider Mark Gurman noted that we can expect significant changes to the user interface, but did not provide details. Designer Parker Ortolani showcased a concept of what it might look like.

This concept focuses on two important changes: a redesigned home screen and more useful and interactive widgets.
The home screen has transformed from a rectangular layout into a long strip with widgets, extensions, and quick access icons for apps. It can be scrolled using the Digital Crown.
The widgets themselves have also changed: for example, the "Weather" widget resembles the iOS version more than the standard extension for watchOS.
Ortollani also notes the possibility of reprogramming the side button - for instance, to open the contact list. The Digital Crown will remain for navigating screens and switching between apps.
It is important to note that these images are not based on specific insider information - they are simply a designer's vision of how watchOS could be redesigned. The final version will almost certainly differ. We will find out soon: watchOS 10 is expected to be unveiled at WWDC 2023, which starts on June 5.
