WhatsApp messages can be transferred in just a few minutes.
The official MIUI account on the Chinese social network Weibo announced a new collaboration between Xiaomi, Vivo, and OPPO. Thanks to this partnership, users will be able to transfer data from third-party applications while switching between smartphones of these brands in any combination.

Currently, when switching to a new device, data from each third-party application like WhatsApp and WeChat must be transferred separately - for example, via "Google Drive". Seamless transfer is usually only available when switching between two devices of the same brand. However, users of Xiaomi, Vivo, and OPPO smartphones will now be able to do this in just a few minutes.
It seems that this has been achieved through the integration of data transfer tools used in MIUI, ColorOS, and OriginOS. These include Mi Replacement, Huantai Mobile Moving - Replacement Assistant, and Mutual Transfer, respectively. After updating these tools to the latest version, data transfer on the Chinese versions of smartphones should be operational now.
It is still unknown when this feature will become available outside of China.
