Samsung starts removing chargers from budget smartphone boxes

Poor packaging has become standard across all Galaxy lines.

It seems that Samsung is transferring one of the flagship features to its budget smartphones - but this is not good news for users. From now on, the brand's affordable devices may be sold without a charging block included. This was revealed by insider Ahmed Kweider, who obtained photos of the Galaxy A14 4G boxes before the sales launch.

There are no photos of the contents, but the author mentions the absence of a charger, and the thickness of the box clearly suggests that a power adapter simply won't fit inside. Likely, it only contains the smartphone, instructions, and a USB-C cable.

The Galaxy A1X series is one of the manufacturer's most affordable lines and previously came with a charging block in the box. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S and Galaxy M series (flagship and mid-range) have slimmed down in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
