This week, Google introduced a new advertising campaign as part of the long-term initiative "BestPhonesForever," targeting Apple. It focuses on the launch of the new movie "Wicked: For Good," which is currently showing in theaters. In the ad, the iPhone enthusiastically talks about the Pixel smartphone and then performs a song from the musical "Wicked: For Good." In the advertisement, Google claims that they were the first to implement several features that were later copied by the iPhone, including call screening and automatic removal of unwanted images from photos.
The ad features the line: "Oh, Pixel, I'm so lucky to have a friend like you. You always inspire me! You create features that help me move forward. For example, photo enhancements, call screening, or creating an AI assistant that can hold real conversations."
