The appearance of the services now better integrates with Gmail and Android.
Google has launched a user interface update for the web services "Google Drive", "Docs", "Sheets", and "Slides" in the Material Design 3 style. This is the same design language used in Gmail since last summer.

The updated "Google Drive" offers filters for sorting by file type, date of last modification, and people who have access to them. The files themselves are now highlighted with a white area, while the main interface is gray-blue.
In "Docs", "Sheets", and "Slides", the toolbar's shape has changed, and the color accent distinguishes it from the top settings panel.
The update has already started rolling out and is expected to be available to everyone by March 25. It will be available to personal account holders, Workspace subscribers, as well as users of outdated G Suite Basic and Business plans.
