This Transparent Game Boy is a Work of Art Thanks to Its Clear Circuit Board

This transparent Game Boy is a true work of art. Natalie, known as Natalie the Nerd, created a transparent circuit board for this console. She is a significant figure in the Nintendo Game Boy modding community and has self-taught reverse engineering and board design for this platform. Now she has applied her skills to create perhaps the most beautiful collectible assembly—a working transparent Game Boy Color, where even the board itself is made of clear plastic. Since she designed this board from scratch, it can be seen through. I was previously impressed by console mods, but they usually remained quite neat. However, this work deserves a place in a museum. As one of my colleagues notes, "Wow, this is beautiful," while another adds, "It's such a pleasure." Another reason this could become a museum exhibit is Natalie's opinion: she agrees with one of the commentators that this console is likely too fragile for long-term use. "Not practical at all, it's a true work of art," she says.
