Elden Ring Nightreign to Feature Even Tougher Bosses

The bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign are already quite challenging. But if you have reached a high level and are looking for even greater challenges, you should try to face the "Everdark Sovereigns" — enhanced versions of the Nightlord bosses that you encounter at the end of the game. According to information from the Bandai Namco blog, these limited-time versions of Nightlords are extremely difficult and pose an even greater threat to Nightfarers due to new attacks and increased strength.

The first Everdark Sovereign you will be able to fight is a new version of Adal, the Baron of Night, known as Gaping Jaw. If you have already defeated the standard version of this boss, you will be able to take on his new form. After defeating the Everdark Sovereign, you will receive Sovereign Sigils, which can be exchanged for special relics and other valuable items.

It is important to note a few key points. Battles with Everdark Sovereigns are only possible in online mode. Additionally, these bosses will only be available for a limited time. For example, the enhanced Gaping Jaw will be available until June 25 at 8:59 PM Eastern Time. Bandai Namco reports that a new Everdark Sovereign will be added to the game each week. In the coming weeks, Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight are expected to appear. Other bosses will be introduced later.

According to the blog, Everdark variants will return after a temporary absence. In the future, the game will feature DLC with new characters and bosses. A film based on Elden Ring is also in development.
