Xbox Games Showcase 2025: All News and Trailers

At the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, a range of important new titles and trailers were presented. The role-playing game Final Fantasy XVI is now available on Xbox, along with two expansions — The Rising Tide and Echoes of the Fallen. The release of the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, featuring additional content about Yuffie, is expected in the near future. Microsoft confirmed that Gears of War: E-Day will be released in 2026. This prequel takes place 14 years before the first game and tells the story of the first appearance of the Locusts on the planet Sera.

A new project from Double Fine studio, titled Keeper, was also announced. In this game, players control a walking beacon accompanied by a bird. The release is scheduled for October 17, 2025. Additionally, Microsoft, together with Asus, introduced two new portable consoles, the ROG Xbox Ally, featuring an updated Xbox interface that will enhance the gaming experience on Windows devices.

Remakes will also be coming for Persona 4, and the game Beast of Reincarnation from Game Freak will be released in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. In this game, players will explore a changing world alongside a dog named Emma. Another major premiere was Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, set in 2035.

It was noted that The Outer Worlds 2 is already available for pre-order at a price of $79.99, with a release planned for October 29, 2025. During the event, trailers for other games were also showcased, including Ninja Gaiden 4, which will be released on October 21, the continuation of Grounded, and a new project from MachineGames — The Order of Giants.
