Sifu is the story of a martial arts master's student seeking revenge for the murder of his mentor. His journey is complicated by a magical talisman: every time the hero dies, he comes back to life but ages. If he ages too quickly, his death will be final.

The game was released in 2022 and sold over a million copies in its first three weeks. It received high praise from critics, with a Metacritic score of 81 out of 100.

Chad Stahelski and 87Eleven are also working on adaptations of the games Ghost of Tsushima and Rainbow Six, while Story Kitchen is handling adaptations of Tomb Raider, It Takes Two, and Streets of Rage. The release date for the Sifu film has not yet been announced.
