The device will feature a display similar to an iPad mounted on a "slim robotic arm." This will allow the screen to tilt, rise, and lower, as well as rotate 360 degrees.

The device will be equipped with the smart assistant Siri and Apple Intelligence AI functionality. This will enable it to respond to various commands, recognize voices, and automatically adjust the display's position to face the user.

Apple began experimenting with the device quite some time ago, but only recently decided to prioritize its development. The project is led by Vice President of Technology Kevin Lynch, who oversaw the creation of the Apple Watch and self-driving cars that never made it to market.

The California giant plans to release the robotic arm either in 2026 or 2027. Its price may be around a thousand dollars.
