"Star of 'Boys' Anthony Starr Reveals Favorite Superhero Movie"

Anthony Starr, who plays Homelander in "The Boys," based on DC comics, gave a brief interview during the Denver 2024 Fan Expo pop culture convention. Journalists asked him about his favorite superhero movies. The actor admitted that he is a fan of the original "Avengers."

As a child, he liked Batman. But then he realized that he is "just a guy with a butler, money, and a couple of cool gadgets, not a superhero." However, the actor is very much looking forward to the reboot of the DC cinematic universe under the direction of James Gunn. Along with this, the actor confirmed that "The Boys" will conclude with its fifth season.

Joining him at the convention were Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett in the series) and Valerie Curry (Fever). Among all superhero blockbusters, they both enjoy "Logan" and "Watchmen," respectively.
