20 Nominees for the 2024 Drone Photo Awards: Candidates for Drone Photo of the Year

Drifting in "space," enchanting lines, a pink sea, and much more.

The jury of the Drone Photo Awards has announced the nominees for 2024. The winners in nine categories will be revealed on September 28.

Among the contenders for the grand prize are stunning aerial shots featuring a pair of polar bears and whirlpools of cranberries during harvest. There are also more complex narratives: photographer Ivo Danchev captured a shepherd desperately protecting his sheep from above.
