Sylvester Stallone Wants to Pass the Rambo Role to Ryan Gosling

Sylvester Stallone also revealed that he could have appeared in "Barbie." It didn't work out, but the actor can still be spotted in one scene.

The guest of the new episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" was actor Sylvester Stallone. The host started the conversation with Greta Gerwig's "Barbie," noting that Stallone is actually connected to this film.

The actor confirmed that he was supposed to appear in "Barbie," but due to his work on the series "Tulsa King," he couldn't make it to the shoot. However, he was still included in the film through two references. In the gym scene, posters of Stallone can be seen on the walls, and Ken's image in a white fur coat was inspired by a young Stallone.

Fallon also heard that Stallone considers Ryan Gosling, who played Ken, a good candidate for the role of Rambo. The actor confirmed this.

When asked if we might one day see "Rambo" with Ryan Gosling, Stallone replied that anything is possible—if Gosling isn't considered too handsome for the role.
