The portal Pigtou has published high-quality renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, which is expected to be released this year.
Judging by the images, the design of the next-generation smartphone will undergo some changes. It will be slightly thinner and wider than its predecessor. Additionally, the diagonal of both screens will increase. However, the overall appearance will remain minimalist: only camera sensors and a flash will be present on the outer side.
A new hinge module with locking elements is being developed for this model. It will allow for even distribution of pressure on the screen and improve the reliability of the structure. Sources have also noted that the Korean giant aims to achieve a more conventional aspect ratio for the outer display.
There is currently no official information about the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6. It is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and Gorilla Armor glass on the outer display. Reports have also mentioned the introduction of improved cameras.
