The company Futureverse, which focuses on technology and content in the field of artificial intelligence, announced the creation of Readyverse Studios - a studio co-founded with Ernest Cline, the author and creator of the novel "Ready Player One," and Dan Farah, the producer of the Warner Bros. film adaptation from 2018.

With the support of Warner Bros. Discovery, the newly established Readyverse Studios plans to bring the franchise into the metaverse through Web3.

The company promises to uphold the principles of an open metaverse, which include verifiable digital ownership, community-owned infrastructure, decentralization, security, and interoperability.

Readyverse Studios plans to launch the project in 2024.

It is worth noting that the adaptation of the science fiction novel "Ready Player One" was released in 2018 and was quite successful. The worldwide box office exceeded $580 million. The film was directed by Steven Spielberg, and the main roles were played by Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, and Ben Mendelsohn.
