Update for everyone who can't reach the top of the screen with their finger.
Google has announced the public launch of a feature that began testing last summer - the ability to move the address bar to the bottom of the screen. This option has been available by default in the standard Safari browser since iOS 15.

It works simply: just press and hold the search bar and select the "Move address bar down" option from the menu that appears (or up if you want to revert it back).
Google noted that users have long requested this feature because the convenient position of the search bar depends on the size of the smartphone and the hand of its owner.
You can move the search bar down in Chrome version 119, but the feature is being rolled out separately from the version update, so it is not yet available to all users. If the feature is currently unavailable to you but you really want to try it, follow our guide to enable it manually.
