Samsung officially launched the beta version of One UI 6 based on Android 14.

The new quick settings interface, the ability to set different lock screens, and much more.

Samsung has launched the beta testing program for One UI 6 on the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, the Android 14-based firmware update is currently available only in the USA, Germany, and South Korea.

The company shared screenshots of the updated design of the quick settings user interface. It has become more dynamic and personalized - the main screen will display the most frequently used features.

The new OS also introduces the ability to set different lock screens that correspond to various modes and tasks, as well as the time of day (for example, you can set a relaxing forest photo for the phone's sleep mode).

The camera widget has also changed. It now allows you to pre-select the shooting mode and the location for saving photos.

However, the release date for the update is still unknown. It is expected that Samsung will release it by the end of this year or early next year.
