Record-Thin Frames of iPhone 15 Pro Revealed in Renders

The frames of Apple smartphones are becoming thinner. According to reputable insider Mark Gurman, in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, they will be a record small - 1.5 millimeters. This is 30% less compared to the iPhone X, which was introduced in 2017.

They have managed to make them thinner thanks to the lithium-polymer battery. It was previously used in the Apple Watch Series 7, which also led to a significant reduction in the frames of the watch's front panel.

However, the Dynamic Island in the new generation smartphones will retain its size. With the thinner frames, it will stand out even more.

The iPhone 15 Pro is also expected to feature a titanium frame, USB-C, and a new periscope lens (in Pro Max). Along with these improvements, the flagship models will increase in price by $100-200.
