"You just don't understand art."

The British company Engineered Arts, which created the humanoid robot Ameca with actively developing facial expressions, has once again improved its design. This time, Stable Diffusion has been integrated into the robot to enable it to "learn" how to draw.

Ameca sends a request to the neural network, simplifies the generated image, and then calculates the trajectory of the marker's movement to draw the necessary lines on the board.

In the video, Ameca draws a cute cat at the engineer's request and ponders why people love cats so much. Interestingly, during its reflections, the robot refers to itself as "we" and "I," implying it considers itself part of humanity (or at least a cat lover).

At the end, Ameca asks the engineer how it did with the drawing, and he responds that it's quite a rough sketch. Ameca replies, "If you don't like my art, then you probably just don't understand art."

It seems the creators are already monetizing Ameca's new skill: in the YouTube video description, they encourage those interested in obtaining a drawing from the robot and a video of its creation to contact them via email for options and pricing.
