Google creates an endless AI "selfie generator"

If necessary, the photos can be edited and modified.

Google is developing a "selfie generator" that will autonomously create realistic photos of users. They won't even need to pose for it.

The company notes that the tool will bring the concept of a photo booth into the world of AI. It will operate based on real selfies from social media. Photos can be edited using prompts, for example, asking the AI to change the background or modify certain details.

The foundation of the "selfie generator" will be DreamBooth - a neural network that transforms text into images. Based on this, it can endlessly create similar shots. This is a joint development by Google Research and Boston University (USA), first introduced in 2022.
