Experts Show How Remote Workers Will Look in 70 Years

The furniture company Furniture At Work, based on research by scientists from Leeds Beckett University (UK) and supported by health professionals, created a 3D model of a future woman named Anna. Experts believe this is what a remote worker might look like in 70 years.

Anna has poor posture, inflamed eyes, a vacant stare, hands with curled fingers, and excess weight. These are the potential consequences of years spent sitting on a bed with a laptop and leading a sedentary lifestyle.

But that's not the whole picture. Experts add that future remote workers will have weak immune systems due to a lack of fresh air, increased anxiety, and chronic depression.

To avoid becoming like Anna, doctors recommend working at a comfortable desk, keeping the laptop on a stand so that it is approximately at eye level, and regularly taking breaks to stretch.

To protect your eyes, follow the "20-20-20" rule: every 20 minutes, look away from the screen for 20 seconds and focus on an object 20 feet away.
