Nearly 7 inches will make it the largest Apple flagship.
According to rumors, next year Apple plans to increase the screen sizes in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The latter, the largest in the lineup, may be named with the Ultra suffix. This information comes from 9to5Mac, citing its sources.

Similar to the Watch Ultra, the smartphone will represent an uber-flagship - featuring a range of characteristics that set it apart from all other models in the series. One of these is a 6.9-inch diagonal screen.
Due to the increased size, the body will be significantly taller but only slightly wider, insiders note. The device will still be manageable with one hand, but it may not be suitable for those with smaller hands.
The approximate dimensions of the iPhone 16 Ultra will be: 165 × 77.2 mm. In comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro Max with a 6.7″ screen measures 159.8 × 76.7 mm. For comparison, the current iPhone 14 Pro Max measures 160 × 77.6 mm.
It is worth noting that this is not the first mention of the upcoming size changes for the iPhone. If the leaks are to be believed, next year Apple will offer four smartphones, all with different screens.
