❗️In Enerhodar, as well as in other temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Russian invaders continue to commit war crimes, including the regular abduction and imprisonment of civilians.Once again, we draw attention to our fellow citizens who remain in captivity. Some have disappeared without a trace, with no information available, while others have been handed "sentences" by Russia’s so-called "law enforcement." For the occupiers, fabricating criminal cases against Ukrainians in the occupied territories and sentencing them to lengthy prison terms, followed by deportation to Russia, has become routine. To date, we know of 23 civilian Enerhodar residents held in captivity, 13 of whom are employees of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). Among them:• Spartesnyi Serhii Leonidovych, 63, shift supervisor of the turbine department at ZNPP’s operational unit. Sentenced to 12 years in a strict-regime prison.• Potynh Serhii Heorhiiovych, 32, occupational safety engineer at ZNPP’s Central Technical Support Department (CTSD). Sentenced to 19 years in a strict-regime prison.• Korzh Serhii Volodymyrovych, 48, repair engineer at ZNPP’s electrical workshop. Sentenced to 13 years in a strict-regime prison.• Matiukhin Oleksandr Yuriiovych, 35, employee of ZNPP’s Emergency Response Department (ERD). Sentenced to 13 years in a strict-regime prison.• Morochkovskyi Oleh Oleksandrovych, 32, employee of ZNPP’s Water Treatment Department (WTD). Sentenced to 11 years in a strict-regime prison.• Shulha Nataliia Yevheniivna, 56, engineer at ZNPP’s CTSD. Sentenced to 15 years; her whereabouts after sentencing are unknown.• Nudha Andrii Borysovych, 57, electrician at DTEK Zaporizhzhia Thermal Power Plant. Sentenced to 10.5 years in a strict-regime prison.• Kliuchko Tetiana Viktorivna, 45, social worker at Enerhodar City Council’s Labor and Social Protection Department. Sentenced to 12 years in a general-regime prison.• Markov Oleksandr, 74, pensioner. Sentenced to 14 years in a strict-regime prison, followed by 1 year of freedom restriction.• Lavryk Ruslan Yuriiovych, 54, radio and television systems engineer at ZNPP. Charged under Article 275 of Russia’s Criminal Code ("treason"), the accusations are entirely fabricated. He is suffering from serious health issues and urgently requires hospitalization.• Trachuk Vadym Viktorovych, 41, driver at ZNPP’s transport department. Faces multiple fabricated charges, including "international terrorism."• Dolhopolova Svitlana Mykolaivna, 63. Charged under Article 275 ("treason").• Malovychko Larysa Vasylivna, 57, was abducted on September 30, 2023. Charged with "espionage" and held in Russia.• Syrotenko Olha Valentynivna, 58. Accused of "subversive activities," "espionage," and "forming a terrorist group." Held in occupied territory.• Matviichenko Roman Mykolaiovych, 47, an electrician at ZNPP’s electrical workshop. Disappeared in May 2022.These are just some of the names we are aware of or can currently disclose. We must not forget our citizens and must do everything possible to support, locate, and free them. We also call on all international and Ukrainian institutions, legal entities, and civil society organizations to take action and raise maximum awareness of the crimes being committed by the occupiers in the seized territories.
