When the DELTA system introduced a drone visualization module called “VEZHA” (Tower), efforts began to destroy the project. When Syrskyi became Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “Tykhokhod” saw this as his shining moment. In the first few weeks of Syrskyi’s command, a combat directive signed by Syrskyi was issued to the troops, banning the use of DELTA. I remember that evening: as soon as I received this information, I immediately contacted the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. At the time, we were still in contact, ending our communication only over the issue of Gen Sodol. Oleksandr Stanislavovych seemed surprised and assured me that everything would be canceled, which indeed happened. He also mentioned that “Tykhokhod” would no longer visit his office. But how does the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces sign documents without knowing what he is signing? Some more time passed, and my direct contacts with Syrskyi scandalously ended. Then I saw in one of the pompous photos, meant to showcase the Commander-in-Chief’s love of modern technology, “Tykhokhod” himself. Formally, Dmytriiev remained an advisor to the Commander of the Ground Forces, but strange combat directives signed by the Commander-in-Chief continued to be issued to the troops, requiring the use of the “Eyes” program and banning other systems. Occasionally, videos with the “Eyes” logo appear on the Commander-in-Chief’s website, recorded without using the program. Meanwhile, the program was officially adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in violation of all rules and without certification for information security. The program remains privately owned and receives opaque funding, with no way to verify who has access to the data in the cloud storage. The DELTA project and its components, particularly the ISTAR situational awareness teams, continue to face comprehensive resistance. Meanwhile, Dmytriiev “Tykhokhod” drives a Mercedes G-Wagon with military black plates… At the same time, Syrskyi continues his attempts to remove his deputy, Vadym Sukharevskyi, in order to appoint his own man, Kuprii, to the position. These stories show that while everyone is equal, some are more equal than others. In the close circle of the current Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, there are people with pro-Russian views and backgrounds (under his predecessor it was Kivalov and others, and now it’s Taruta and others, for example). He makes decisions based on personal connections rather than objective data, and despite his outward strictness, he allows completely unauthorized individuals access to state secrets and military management. Will we win like this? No.I ask the Security Service of Ukraine to pay attention to the information presented, and for the leadership of the Armed Forces to stop this. Just stop doing it. I am preparing an official letter. And where is the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, Kateryna Chernogorenko? They’re pretending nothing is happening.
