Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave an interview to NBC. Main theses:
▪️On possible changes in strategy: "Our military is coming up with different plans, operations in order to move forward faster and strike the russian federation unexpectedly."
▪️On the situation on the battlefield: "I don't think it's a stalemate. We did a lot. They thought they would checkmate, but it didn't happen."
▪️On rumors about negotiations with the russian federation: "I have heard many different voices and emotions without any concrete proposals. I have no relations with russia...I am not ready to talk to terrorists, because their word is worthless."
▪️About air defense: "We don't have enough air defense means, so russia controls the sky. What will happen when we have enough? Our soldiers will go. No, they will run forward and [the counteroffensive] will go faster. We cannot use our people, like meat, as the russians do."
▪️Zelenskyi also said that one of the ways to save the country is the joint production of air defense systems with allies, the transfer of some systems for rent. He mentioned the need for drones.
▪️The President urged the Congress not to lose its will, strong position and democracy in the context of maintaining military aid to Ukraine.
▪️On a possible visit to Israel: "It's hard to say, because I'm the president of a country at war, and it's very hot on our battlefield." He added that any possible visit would depend on the situation at the front
