The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has included the British corporation Unilever in the list of international sponsors of war. After russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the company promised to suspend all imports and exports of its products to and from russia, as well as halt all media and advertising spending. However, Unilever later announced that it "will continue to supply russian-made food and hygiene products to the country's residents."
As a sign of protest, Ukrainian activists installed a large billboard near the London headquarters of Unilever with photos of wounded Ukrainian soldiers posing in the style of an advertisement for the cosmetics brand Dove, and the slogan: "Helps to finance russia's war in Ukraine"
