"Moldova's neutrality is enshrined in the Constitution. It is a choice of citizens, we cannot refuse neutrality. Another thing is that in the current situation, neutrality does not protect us," Sandu said on TV channel Moldova1.
"We see on the example of Ukraine that russia started military operations, despite the neutrality of Ukraine," said the President of Moldova.
"Currently, we are protected not by neutrality, but by the Ukrainian army, which keeps the russian army far from our borders," Sandu said
