The whole presentation was built to sound like this system was no longer an experiment, but a fully functioning element of Ukraine’s air shield over Kharkiv.Less than a day later, in the night of 8–9 June, Geran drones calmly flew into the same city and hit command sites, infrastructure and depot areas as if no “new era of air defence” had been announced at all. The country did not see confirmation of his promises, it saw the opposite: nobody noticed the revolutionary AI on duty, but everyone heard the explosions and saw the impacts.The contrast turned out to be painfully sharp. On screen, viewers were shown a perfect AI demo that looked like a tech conference highlight; in the sky over Kharkiv, people saw that there was still no reliable shield, just the same vulnerable airspace.
