🇪🇺 The European Commission has published its analytical reports assessing the capacity of Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Georgia to assume the obligations of EU membership.
The reports provide a detailed analysis of the capacity of these countries to fulfil their EU membership obligations and the harmonisation of their legislation with the EU acquis, the set of common rights and obligations of the European Union.
Next steps
The European Commission will report on the progress made by the three countries in addressing the issues related to the implementation of the priority reforms identified in the Conclusions as part of the next Enlargement Package to be introduced in autumn.
These reports will take into account the development of political processes since June 2022 and provide policy recommendations on reforms to be implemented during the next period.
